Holm Park Builders Pty / Ltd [“Holm Park”] [“Holm Park’s”] [“Holm Park Builder’s”] (ABN: 52 061 319 855) is committed to providing quality services, especially in relation to how Holm Park manages your Personal Information. You can travel through most of Holm Park’s website without providing them any data about yourself. However, Holm Park may occasionally require material to provide services that you request, and this statement of privacy explains data collection and use in those circumstances. Holm Park collects Personal Information to conduct their business. Personal Information is information or an opinion that identifies an individual. Holm Park also collects information to assist themselves with providing their goods and services to you. Such as your Personal Information to contact you in order to provide a consultation regarding their construction services. Holm Park obtains Personal Information in many ways, including: through telephone and facsimile, email, their website (wwww.holmpark.com.au) publicly available sources, government organisations, social media campaigns and / or communication channels, correspondence, interviews, correspondence, questionnaires, and, from other third parties. Holm Park do not guarantee website links or policy of authorised (or unauthorised) third parties.

Holm Park collects your Personal Information for the primary purpose of providing their services to you, in order to provide a building service to their clients; whether for quoting purposes to construction. Holm Park may also use your Personal Information for secondary purposes closely related to the primary purpose, in circumstances where you would reasonably expect such use or disclosure. Such as validating your information with government organisations (such as for construction, permits and permissions), and for when you request and / or accept a quote to construct, but not limited to the afore mentioned examples. Furthermore, where required by law, Holm Park may provide your information to courts and regulatory authorities.

When Holm Park collect Personal Information, they will, where appropriate and, where possible, explain to you why they are collecting the information and how they plan to use it.

Holm Park will ask you when they need information that directly identifies you (Personal Information) or permits them to contact you. Normally, this information is invited when you are contacting Holm Park via a contact form, or in-person to negotiate and determine a build (and throughout the process). Personal Information collected by Holm Park is often your first name, last name, addresses, email addresses, phone, facsimile numbers, credit card information and banking information but may include other material when needed to provide a service you requested.

Other Information

Holm Park may also require your banking information, credit information, title information, mortgage information, financial information and other property information in order to conduct their business. This information is typically not required when you initially interact with Holm Park. However, we may invite you to provide this information (and we will clearly outline the reasons) in-order to provide our services to you. Such example is requiring your financial information and mortgage to determine your financial viability for construction services.

Sensitive Information

Sensitive Information is defined in the Privacy Act to include information or opinion about such things as an individual’s racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, membership of a political association, religious or philosophical beliefs, membership of a trade union or other professional body, criminal record, or health information.

Sensitive Information will be used by Holm Park only:

  • For the primary purpose for which it was obtained.

  • For a secondary purpose that is directly related to the primary purpose.

  • With your consent; or where required or authorised by law.

Security of Personal Information

Your Personal Information is stored in a manner that reasonably protects it from misuse and loss and from unauthorized access, modification, or disclosure. Your Personal Information may be stored in a secure physical location (i.e., head office filing room) or through a third party (i.e., Microsoft 365 for Business).

When your Personal Information is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was obtained, Holm Park will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify your Personal Information. However, most of the Personal Information is or will be stored in client files which will be kept by Holm Park for a minimum of 7 years.

You may access the Personal Information Holm Park’s hold about you and to update and / or correct it, subject to certain exceptions. If you wish to access your Personal Information, please contact Hom Park in writing.

Holm Park will not charge any fee for your access request but may charge an administrative fee for providing a copy of your Personal Information.

In order to protect your Personal Information Holm Park may require identification from you before releasing the requested information.

You may unsubscribe from any mailing / marketing lists at any time by contacting Holm Park in writing. However, at this stage, Holm Park has never had any mailing / marketing lists so please advise them of this.

 

Use of Cookies

To ensure Holm Park are publishing content customers need and want, Holm Park collects site-visitation statistics using cookies. Holm Park only use this information in aggregated form and only use site-visitation statistics for improving their Web Sites.

When someone visits a site, a cookie is placed on the customer’s machine (if the customer accepts cookies) or is read if the customer has visited the site previously.
